Paper Mario and Zonk hit Virtual Wii

Two new titles for Europe this week

NEWS: 13 July 2007 16:52 GMT by Stuart Miles

Paper Mario and Zonk are the latest games to be making their way to Nintendo’s Wii console this week in Europe.

Originally launched on the Nintendo 64 in 2001, Paper Mario sees Mario finding himself as thin as a piece of paper, making the link between 2D and 3D like never before.

Available just as Nintendo release Super Paper Mario for the Wii, Paper Mario is available now for 1000 Wii Points (around £7.50).

Also up for grabs this week is Air “Zonk” which was originally released on Turbografx in 1992.

The shoot ‘em up - based on the Bonk’s Adventure series - sees the charged-up Zonk forming Team Cool with his friends to stop the evil King Drool from conquering the world.

With three difficulty levels, ‘sweet’, ‘spicy’ and ‘bitter’ to choose from, players must travel through each level defeating King Drool’s robots and collecting Air Bones to gain new attacks. It is available for download for 600 Wii Points.
