The Nintendo Wii isn’t the only console to be getting a classic next week, Microsoft has announced that it will be offering “Bomberman Live” and “Yie Ar Kung Fu” on Xbox LIVE Arcade next week.

Landing this Wednesday 18 July gamers will be able to guide their unique Bomberman (there are over 10,000 variations supposedly) around the classic grid-like arena avoiding opponents and their bombs while attempting to bomb the competition.

There will be eight multiplayer arenas and 16 different power-ups with up to four players or hop online and challenge the best Bombermen (and women!) from around the world with up to four other players.

Those not interested in blowing their opponents up can opt for “Yie Ar Kung Fu” from Konami, which also arrives on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 this Wednesday 18th July.

“Bomberman” will be available for 800 MS points (around £6.80) and “Yie Ar Kung Fu” for 400 MS points (around £3.20).
