The legendary game producer Hideo Kojima has revealed two new projects while speaking at the PlayStation Premiere 2007 event.

Firstly, Kojima talked about the online functionality of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and that consequently Kojima's team is apparently working on a successor. The designer remained coy about details but did say that a similar Metal Gear Solid online game is in development for the PS3 with more to be announced during Metal Gear's 20th anniversary party next week.

Kojima then went on to mention Portableble Ops Plus, an expansion to the well-received PlayStation Portable game Portable Ops. The expansion will bring gamers new characters, missions, gameplay and modes, as well as tutorials for beginners, and a new single-player mode.

Portable Ops Plus is pegged for a September 20 release in Japan, while there's been no mention of a release in Europe or North America.
