Ubisoft has announced, albeit in a rather quiet way, the delay to the release of its Splinter Cell: Conviction.

The news was seen in the company’s first quarter 2007-2008 financial results, saying that the title has been put back to the forth quarter of the financial year, in other words between January and March 2008.

The game was expected to hit the shelves this November but its absence from this year’s E3 was a clue of the bad news to come.
