Future battle lords take heart … EA hasn’t forgotten you. Come early 2008 a new and devastating expansion to Command & Conquer 3 will be out for those who wish to take the side of the bad guy.

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath will be the first expansion pack for the popular title and, as the name suggests, it will centre on Kane.

The title will be out on PC and Xbox 360 but no exact dates have been given yet.

Fans can see a video introduction to the game at the Command & Conquer website (see link below) where the presenter sums it up, "It's all about Kane. It chronicles his rise back to power after the second Tiberium War and continues all the way through C&C3".

The video goes on to reveal that the expansion will involve live-action cutscenes, and, for the gamers’ part, permit strategic moves followed by tactical real-time combat on the battlefield.

Also promised are new units, powers, and upgrades, though no details have been mentioned.
