Following the price cuts on the 360 in the United States and Canada, Australia has been given an early Christmas present leaving the consoles costing just Aus $399 (£166).

The cuts around the world leave European gamers now paying between £50 and £70 more than gamers on other continents.

That Australia has now seen price cuts, in order to clear stock for the new consoles with the HDMI ports, hopes are growing that Europe will see some similar loving from Microsoft.
