RPG goes mobile with Blades & Magic

Now RPG geeks can get some fresh air while gaming

NEWS: 17 August 2007 0:00 GMT by Chris Ford

RPGs and MMO have always been the preserve of PCs and bedrooms, but now FISHLABS has announced the final version of its IMGA short-listed Blades & Magic.

The game will see the light of day at the Games Convention in Leipzig next week and is expected to go live across carriers worldwide and on the FISHLABS site (see link below) in September and October.

To reach the greatest number of gamers, the title will be available in two versions, one on Sony Ericsson and the BREW platform with big, bold, fully-animated 3D graphics, and one for less powerful phones which still promises a stunning experience.

Both versions will incorporate the full functionality of 42 warrior and magic skills within a 10,000 word storyline of nine chapters and 24 cutscenes, adding up to 6 to 10 hours of pure gameplay.
