360 Elite dated and priced for Oz

It looks like Australia’s going to get a similar deal to Europe

Microsoft has announced that Australia will be getting the Xbox 360 Elite on August 30.

The console will come in a bundle, as in Europe, with a HDMI cable, an Ethernet cable, one month free Xbox Live Gold subscription, a black wireless controller, and an Xbox Live headset.

The new console is going to set Aussie gamers back Aus $729.95/£304, or if they are simply after a 120GB hard drive upgrade, then it’ll cost them Aus $229.95/£95.

It’s been a busy week for the 360 in Australia as the announcement comes on the heals of news of the Halo 3 console down under which goes on sale on September 20 and for A$679.95/£283.
