You know how seriously publishers are taking mobile phone games when you hear that Konami are rolling out its big titles to the format.
This Autumn Konami will release Pro Evolution Soccer, Silent Hill and Castlevania to be distributed by Glu Mobile, which Konami signed a major agreement with earlier this year.
The Silent Hill game will be the first time the series has been released onto mobile phones, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow will be a conversion of the Game Boy Advance game.
Pro Evo 2008 will include six modes all featuring officially licensed national and club teams, as well as five pitches with varying weather conditions. A second control system which uses just one-button has also been included.
“This line-up clearly proves Konami’s commitment to expand the availability of its key properties across all gaming platforms,” said Florian Stronk, head of mobile business department at Konami Digital Entertainment.
“We are extremely pleased by the work that our dedicated European mobile development studio has delivered and we are confident that the market is going to share our excitement.”
