Reports have come out of China that a 30 year old man collapsed dead in an internet café after a serious gaming session.

The Guangzhou resident had clocked up a shocking 72 hours of online play when he dropped from exhaustion. Paramedics were called to the scene but were unable to revive him.

Although no mention was made of what he was playing, there were over 100 witnesses to his death who "left the cafe in fear after witnessing the man's death."

China has 140 million regular internet users, putting the country second only to the U.S, and has become one of the world’s biggest gaming markets. Several cities even have clinics to combat “internet addiction”.
