Halo 3 UK launch plans announced

Microsoft nab the iMax as part of the party

NEWS: 18 September 2007 14:41 GMT by Chris Ford

Microsoft is taking no prisoners for the upcoming launch of Halo 3 by bringing in famous names and places to make event go with a bang.

Firstly, Microsoft has gone after the biggest screen in town by hiring the iMax cinema near London Waterloo.

And who’s going to be on hand that night to fill the seats? Well, apart from the Bungie and Microsoft big wigs, broadcaster Jonathan Ross will be at the iMax on September 25 where the festivities kick off at 6.30 pm.

The planned events for the night include a photographic exhibition, which will go on to tour the country at key cinemas.
