Several reports have surfaced regarding the condition of the discs found in the newly available Legendary Edition of Halo 3.

Angry fans in the U.S have been wasting no time in letting the world know that when they got home and opened up the case holding he game disc all was not well, with the readable surface scratched.

Speculation has led the victims of this terrible tragedy to blame the packaging for the grievous harm that’s come to their precious Halo 3 discs. It seems that the central spindle, which normally holds a disc firmly in place, in this case was too small allowing the disc to slide around during transit.

Reports so far have suggested that the damage does not affect game play, at least generally, so unless gamers are bothered by cosmetics there shouldn’t be a problem. However, for those who are… Microsoft has yet to comment.
