Captain Olimar has joined Nintendo Wii's Smash Bros roster.

He will bring with him five different types of Pikmin, whihc he plucks from the ground before ordering them around.

These will help him smother his opponents,but without them, Captain Olimar is virtually powerless, unable to even pull off a Smash Attack.

Pikmin won't live for very long, either, and will scatter rather easily.

Olimar joins other newcomers Pit, Wario, Zero Suit Samus, Ike, Pokémon Trainer, Diddy Kong, Meta Knight, Solid Snake, Lucas, Sonic and King Dedede in the upcoming Wii fighter.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be out in Europe in the coming months.
