Lord of The Rings Online: Mines of Moria

First glimpses into LOTR Volume II

NEWS: 3 April 2008 10:59 GMT by Katie Scott

It was the 2007 PC Game of the Year, but now the first glimpses are being offered of Volume II of the Lord of The Rings Online.

The new website, Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria offers interactive mini-games inspired by the Books of J.R.R. Tolkien.

But registered participants can also unlock rewards including exclusive videos, images, and in-game items that will aid them on their journey into Moria when Volume II of The Lord of the Rings Online launches this autumn.

King Under the Mountain is the first mini-game to be launched on the site.

It is based on the story of the excavation and building of Khazad-Dûm, the Dwarven capital and grandest of cities.

Gamers can play solo or battle against friends and visitors do not need to be subscribers to The Lord of the Rings Online to register.
