A new trailer for Overclocked: A History of Violence has been released giving a sneak peek into the soon to be released psychological thriller.

The trailer reveals more of the game’s plot and introduces the other characters, including the five young patients, found wandering the streets of New York City, "distraught, scared and screaming".

Set against the backdrop of a catastrophic thunderstorm raging over New York City, Overclocked lets gamers step into the world of former army psychiatrist David McNamara.

The game follows McNamara as he uses forensic psychiatry to explore the minds of five young men and women who were found without memory.

Gamers can choose from six different characters; explore 45 locations and enjoy "visuals enhanced by shadow and shader effects, real-time atmospheric particle effects (rain, snow, lightening), and dynamic lighting".

Overclocked is scheduled to release on 2 May 2008 in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia, although it is already available in Canada and the US.
