Toki Tori coming to Wii

Game Boy classic released as WiiWare download

NEWS: 11 April 2008 14:39 GMT by Katie Scott

That Game Boy classic, Toki Tori, is now coming to the Nintendo Wii.

A new version of game is to be released as a WiiWare download.

According to developer Two Tribes, the update "improves the original on every front".

Eurogamer reports that fans can expect a new look, improved content and a control system involving the Wii remote.

It adds: "For those who aren't familiar, Toki Tori is a puzzle game that looks like a platform game. You have to use items such as the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock to plot your way through levels".

For those of you who fancy "telewarping" in the UK, though, there's still no news from Nintendo as to when the WiiWare service will make it to our fair Isle.

The WiiWare service is up and running in Japan, and will launch in the US on 12 May.

We're so pleased for them (no really).
