Venture into Narnia with new Prince Caspian game

Bring out the kid in you

NEWS: 8 May 2008 15:15 GMT by Verity Burns

Anyone that fell in love with the Chronicles of Narnia as a kid can now recreate the magic with a new game being released across all platforms, released in conjunction with the new Disney film.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian game sees a return to Narnia 1,300 years after the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The Pevensie children must battle against the evil rule of the tyrant Miraz and help Prince Caspian gain his rightful place on the throne.

The game will open up never before seen parts of Narnia, as you explore, combat and puzzle solve your way through tasks set in the majestic Castle of Cair Paravel and learn how Narnia fell to the Telmarine hordes.

You can choose from more than 20 characters to play with, including Prince Caspian himself and much-loved Narnian creatures such as Reepicheep the mouse and Trufflehunter the Badger.

However, the game for the Nintendo DS will give a completely different gaming experience from the console and PC versions.

This action-oriented role-playing title includes game play features such as touchscreen gesture-controlled attacks, activating the DS microphone to sound the game's horn during battles, as well as the option to turn the DS on its side for storybook narratives.

Look out for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian from 20th June, available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS and PC.
