MySims Kingdom announced for autumn release

Can you make an island fit for a king?

NEWS: 14 May 2008 13:41 GMT by Verity Burns

Electronic Arts has released the first details for MySims Kingdom, the next instalment in the MySims series.

Launching exclusively on Wii and Nintendo DS, MySims Kingdom sets you out on an adventure to help King Roland and his subjects revitalise a rather shabby looking Kingdom.

Your challenge on the Wii version will be to bring the Kingdom back to its former glory.

Throughout your journey through the Kingdom, new characters, lands, and contraptions will be revealed to help you with your challenge. Construct and do everything from tending your pigs to finding treasure chests.

Newly-added building options will help you accomplish the tasks you’re challenged with along the way, including building broken bridges. In true MySims fashion, everything is customisable, allowing every creation within your world to have a signature look.

On Nintendo DS however, MySims Kingdom adds a new chapter to the saga, challenging you to help the King thwart the plans of evil in a far flung corner of the Kingdom.

Many new activities and mini-games are included to help you persuade the King that your island is the ultimate royal destination.

The second instalment in the MySims franchise will hit the shelves in autumn this year.
