Nintendo Japan signs deal with McDonald's

The pair strike up another deal

NEWS: 27 May 2008 14:35 GMT by Verity Burns

Nintendo Japan has signed a deal with McDonald's for a branded browser to be made available for DS users.

The application will connect to a page of McDonald's news and promotions and also feature nutritional information for its products.

The service will be running for a limited time from 27 May to 31 June. Apparently, Nintendo will be offering DS demos during 30 May and 19 June from within the McDonald's browser exclusively.

Nintendo and McDonald's do have a history of working together. The two companies made an agreement that allowed DS users access to the Wi-Fi in US McDonald's free of charge.
