AOL Europe has teamed up with leading online game publishers such as Real, PopCap and Big Fish Games to create a new free online gaming site.

“By offering next generation online games and continuing to partner with all the leading game publishers, will be able to offer the best free selection of online and downloadable game content in Europe,” said Dana Dunne, CEO, AOL Europe.

“The new community features will provide a destination where people can experience the games they love while connecting with players from around the world.”

AOL hopes that the offer of 250 free online games will pull in punters to its newly launched website.

The site will also feature the chance to chat with other gamers.
