Pro Evo Soccer 2009 announced

Kicking off in the Autumn

NEWS: 23 June 2008 14:05 GMT by Verity Burns

Football fans feeling a bit deflated at the lack of any British side in the Euro 2008 competition will soon be able to enjoy the latest installment in the Pro Evo Soccer Series.

Konami has announced that PES 2009 has undergone a graphical update to ensure that its players look and move even more like their real-life counterparts.

Similarly, all-new options will allow users to tailor the game to their own tastes, while new moves, new control elements and key online elements will further the realism of the new game, says Konami.

Jon Murphy, PES project leader for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH said: “We are committed to extending the realism of the new game with a wealth of key gameplay additions, and will produce a football title that truly embodies all the skill and pace that is good about the modern game.”

PES 2009 will be available in the Autumn on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP and PC.
