Logitech launches force feedback wheel for PS3

Wireless one-piece

NEWS: 16 July 2008 14:53 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

Logitech has launched a racing wheel for the PS3 that features a one-piece design, an expandable lap rest and built-in acceleration and brake controls.

With the boast that it will add force feedback realism to your driving-game experience in seconds, the (to give it its proper title) Logitech Driving Force Wireless force feedback racing wheel for PlayStation 3, offers super quick set-up.

Featuring 2.4 GHz wireless technology for lag-free range of up to 10 metres, it comes complete with USB receiver and power cord. Just plug it all in, put in a driving game, adjust the lap rest to a comfortable position and wait for the race to begin.

The Logitech Driving Force Wireless force feedback wheel is expected to be available in the US and Europe beginning in August, with European pricing coming in at 79.99 euros.
