Hothead Games has announced that it is developing a PS3 version of its game, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, to debut on PSN by autumn 2008.

Previously only available on PC and Xbox 360, Hothead's CEO Vlad Ceraldi has said the development has been made due to player demand.

"We keep getting emails asking why our Penny Arcade game is not on PSN," said Ceraldi.

"We have always said we wanted to have our games on as many platforms as possible to give choice to gamers. All good things take time and we are very excited to be debuting our first PS3 title and look forward to bringing more games to this platform in the future."

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an RPG-Adventure game series set in the comic-book-meets-pulp-horror deranged 1920s universe of New Arcadia. It will be delivered to players in episodic releases - this being episode one.

The PS3 title will be priced in line with the game on other platforms, which was a 1600 Microsoft points, or £13.40.





The PLAYSTATION®3 system version of Episode One will be priced in line with the game on other platforms.
