Rockstar Games has announced that Japanese gamers will be able to play Rockstar's GTA IV from 30 October 2008.

While US and UK gamers have been playing it for months, the Japanese gamers will have to wait just a little longer it seems before they can get driving around San Andreas on the Xbox 360.

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV was released in North America and Europe on April 29, 2008, selling 3.6 million units on the first day of release, and 6 million units in the first week.
