EA team with Epic Games

Maybe a new look Gears of War

NEWS: 18 August 2008 11:32 GMT by Stuart Miles

EA has teamed up with Gears of War makers Epic Games to make an all-new action title for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Although details are thin on what the game will be, both companies seem keen to get the word out on the street.

In usual press release spiel, Mark Rein, vice president, Epic Games said: “Epic is excited to work with EA Partners to launch our next big IP on the global stage. EA Partners gives independent developers like Epic the muscle of a global publisher like EA, along with the focus and flexibility of a smaller team committed to working with our individual needs.”

More Gears of War fare or something different to come?

We will keep you posted.
