PlayOn lets PS3 users watch internet TV

Coming to Xbox 360 and Wii shortly

New software which will allow PS3, Xbox 360 and HP MediaSmart TVs to access internet video sites has been launched in the US.

The new software, called PlayOn allows users to watch sites like Hulu, CBS, YouTube and ESPN on their television without bothering to connect a PC or Mac.

The PlayOn Beta, which is also supporting Netflix support later on, also plans to add support for Nintendo Wii by the end of 2008.

The software, which is installed on your Windows PC lets you then stream content to your games console.
