Microsoft slashes Xbox DLC prices by up to 60%

Ten popular bundles reduced

NEWS: 5 September 2008 20:02 GMT by Verity Burns

Microsoft has slashed the prices of a number of popular DLC bundles on Xbox Live as part of its special promotion called "Extended Play Download Days".

The ten packages are being reduced by up to 60%, and are some of the most popular selections around at the moment, according to Microsoft.

Some are barely worth the price drop really, such as a 51p drop for an extra level on Beautiful Katamari. However, the Oblivion Shivering Isles has a rather significant third knocked off taking it from a pricey 2400 Microsoft Points, to a more affordable 1600 instead.

The prices are available right now and will be in place until October. The full list of those on offer is below - check it out and head over to Xbox Live if any of them take your fancy.

Mass Effect - Bring Down The Sky. Was 400MP now 300MP.

Lost Odyssey - Triple Bonus Pack. Was 200MP, now 120MP.

Forza Motorsport 2 - Motegi Track Pack. Was 400MP, now 240MP.
