Halo: The Cole Protocol will be available from November 25th, and there will be an audio book released too for those who can't be bothered to actually read. The book, written by Tobias Buckell, follows the Spartan Gray team into "an unexplored conflict of the Human-Covenant War." And just so you don't forget the book is based on a "mature rated game", its put on the cover in black and white. That certainly rushes the plans of any kids hoping to sneak Halo past their parents by telling them it's based on the adventures of an angel trying to save the world. Party poopers eh?
